My latest! An awesome Fuzzhugger Custom 1134+ in a Pat Corrigan Algal Bloom enclosure. Stock 1134 circuit with an additional clipping stage and push/pull pot on the Trim control which switches caps for different mid-range response. (Did I get that right Tom?) Sounds as good as it looks. Thanks Tom! Really enjoying this one.

I like this idea!

How do you think the 1134+ sounds compared to an ab-synth or algal bloom? Is there sonic room on a board for all 3?

The 1134 sort of evolved into the AB-Synth. (I've talked a bit about this before...probably confusing everyone, but here's the differences:)
--For the AB-Synth, the overall/maximum gain level was reduced just
a touch. (So the 1134 gets
a touch more splattery/nasty when cranked.)
--The 1134's Gain knob was dropped, and a Fuzz knob was added (to control how overdriven the fuzz is, but not clean up the fuzz).
--The AB-Synth has a sizzle overtone that the 1134 doesn't have.
--Oscillation.
NOW, the AB-Synth has been further changed from the 1134 with the Voice and Clipping controls. There are way more tones available than ever before, and it ends up being
very different than the 1134.
So the 1134 cleaned up more, but also had a
tiny bit more gain on tap, and a slightly higher-fi sound in general (compared with the AB-Synth...the 1134 IS a high gain pedal, I'm not saying it's hi-fi sounding, just doesn't have the AB-Synth's sizzle overtone. It did have some hints of octave in there.)
I'm not building the 1134 anymore, though.

^ That look so kool (sonidero special pedulz)
What it is?
I guess it's a Great Wall with an octave up switch, and an oscillator?

The FuzzIII is switchable between a Lab Ratchet and Great Wall. The left footswitch is always lit up either orange (Lab Ratchet) or red (Great Wall).
The Push knob is a dual-gang pot (think stacked knob that shares the same shaft/knob), so it's the Fuzz knob for Great Wall mode, and Fuzz for Lab Ratchet.
Sustain is the Lab Ratchet's Ratchet knob...so you can preset that to where ever you want the LR to be. They also share the bypassable Tone circuit.
The FuzzIII was originally planned to come out before the Lab Ratchet, and be at the top of the FuzzHugger line. But the reality was a super time-consuming build, a tight layout, and a graphic print that was difficult to do perfectly the way I wanted. I had a small number of circuit boards, and never redesigned. So the whole thing got shelved.
