Just picked up a Boss PH-2 today. Still trying to find its place in my chain. But i'm liking it after delay/before verb.

Phaser + Panner = totally amazingly earth shattering, BTW.

pre or post fuzz, it's amazing...

if you have a wah pedal and you're lucky enough, you can get almost talk-box qualities from cocking a wah before fuzz and putting a PH-2 after it

Since my pic of my current phaser family got eaten by the GREAT ILF OUTAGE OF 2012, I'll post it here again:

So awesome dude, what do you think of Faye Sing vs Grand Orbiter? I really fancied a GO before I got my faye sing and I couldn't justify having both.

Just got an Upper and put my PH-2 in its loop...swooshing upper octaves galore. I love it.

Had an upper for a week or so, had not got round to putting my phaser in it. And YES it is the best sound. Upper in a feedback loop with the phaser in its loop is incredible.

I've been having a orgasm over my Ibanez PM7 every time I use it.

If possible, put it in the loop of an Upper with a fuzz, it's freaking incredible. If you can't, why don't you have an Upper? Daaaaang.

Well I can't really fault you on that, octave down+phaser is fucking excellent.

I did a fun A/B shootout with my original v3 Small Stone and its reissue. Both have their strong points, but I prefer the original.

The reissue's "Color" mode (that is, Mode 2, or switch up) gets some really deep harmonic phasing going on, but too much in the aural direction of a flanger, and I don't like flangers. Both modes are a bit, hmmm... muffled compared to the original. Where the original sounds like it's actually taking your signal and swooshing it around, the reissue sounds like it's overlapping a swooshing with your signal. Like the original is a phaser milkshake; the reissue is a phaser sandwich. Ya dig?

Bonus: The original phaser is in reeeeeallly good condition. Now I have an original v5 IC Big Muff and v3 Small Stone, both from '78-79!
