um... i don't know, but EHX seems to change.... a few effects before they set a new course and i don't like it very much

i mean THEORETICALLY it's amazing... but then you hear the demo and it's not even remotely amazing... not for 240$ anyway and absolutely not for me.

I'm a bit disappointed, but I think it was a hella crappy demo with terrible sound quality, so maybe there's a chance it'll be ok.

^this. the demo guitarist, equipment, and conditions could hardly have been less suited for the device. it was like trying to demo a POG using a Pignose in an Indian casino.

New demo from EHX.

The sound quality is definitely better as compared to the last demo, but I'm still just not feeling it. :idk:

the playing and the players' conceptualization is better than the first demo, but still not great. which is to say that it's an E-H demo LOL. however, from this demo i can hear that if i had three or four hours to fuck with it i could get some fun stuff out of it. i'd run it with the main and sympathetic outputs going into separate chains of (modulation)->delay->reverb so i could turn the sympathetics into clouds of ambient murk. i'm still not liking it enough to pay the MAP for it, though. if i was working and i had money to fling around, maybe.

Well at least it does sound a hell of a lot more like a sitar in this one.

It's cool, but not really usuable in most band situations. Also being able to play an actual sitar would be much cooler.

i probably wouldn't use it to "sound like a sitar" much if at all...i'd probably use it in the manner that folks use POGs, to do organ and string voicings by processing it all to hell, 12-string-esque sounds, and such. the detuning and major/minor/etc. options would make it an interesting alternative for drones/pads

EHX just keeps em coming. I would love to sit in on one of their brainstorming sessions for new pedals.

I wonder what a sitar would sound like through that thing
