Thanks so much i appreciate the kind words! We have unfortunately sold out of both pressings of our e.p but as soon as we finish our full length this winter i will def let you know and hook a brother up!

They are! they bring fact to a previously unfactual past shrouded in mystery brought on by the oppression and confusion of tongues past government's and rulers used to gain wealth instead of spreading truth!

I know you said you were more into shorter catchier tunes, like Torche (one of my favourites ever), check out the band prior to torche, called Floor, it's like slow poppunk droptuned. the self titled record is perfect. It also inspired me to tune AADGBE because it sounds so sick.

I know you said you weren't into jammy, but uh,

get stoned and listen to Samothrace - Life's Trade and it will change you. It's the slowest, heaviest, prettiest, most emotional doom record i have ever heard in my life. Amazing guitar work. Makes me feel something no other record can.

and another personal favourite,

Mammatus.

Insanely psychedelic, insane guitar work, immaculate tones. Start with self titled, or if you want to listen to what is essentially the most astoundingly intense 12 minute harmonized guitar solo ever written listen to "Dragon of the Deep pt. III (Excellent Swordfight) off of The Coast Explodes.

oh, and if you don't already listen to more Boris than the legal limit allows (like aen), and haven't actually listened to Bongzilla's Gateway you've got some homework to do. :snax:

Tales of Lolita on the Floor S/T record is the perfect song.

Too lazy to browse back through, but I'm not sure if anyone's dropped Bong yet.

Listen to Bong.

Am I the only one who prefers Dove to the Floor S/T?

Namaste > Tales of Lolita.

Also, I consider Floor to be the definitive masters of the "feedback as part of the riff" school of heavy music.

Which reminds me, I gotta pick up Beyond & Below one of these days.
