So if I arbitrarily pick the first weekend in September, the night of September 2nd, as ILFest, does that work for everyone?

I'd be down for September 2nd. It's right at the beginning of school so I won't miss much

Quick thought on the Gallery portion of the fuzz fest. I need to check out the venue to find out how much space we'd have for gallery area, and figure out how to secure it so people aren't walking off with stuff, but:

I'd love to offer up space to all the ILF builders, even if they can't make it. We'll be carrying event insurance for the night as it is, so I will check to find out how much it'd be to insure builders' pedals that are on display in the gallery.

Builders can then ship me a box of pedals / pedalboards and instructions on how they'd like them displayed, and I'll make sure they get set up, aren't stolen, and get shipped back. I don't think we'll have the time / manpower to be selling pedals for folks at the show unless you come in person.

This way we can get FH, Dr. Scientist and anyone else that can't attend in person but would like to display, if they'd like to display their stuff. Personally, I'd love to see a bunch of pedals on display as art. Also, this is open to ILF folks that DIY and make art.. Looking at Jero, McSpunckle, CultureJam, etc.. :thumb:

Thoughts?

I may have already mentioned this, but if my noise-rock band gets off the ground we'd totally be interested in playing. I told my drummer and he said he'd be cool with it just that the guy who runs the Borg Ward doesn't really like him because he broke a mic stand once.

Definitely keeping you guys in mind, but I want to make sure the folks that are driving 7 hours can make the date first :thumb: ;)

That is to say, I want as many people to play as possible, you guys included! :D

This just in: The first ILFest will be September 2nd (or 3rd, depending on what the venue says when I email them back) in Milwaukee at the Borg Ward.

Tom said it was kosher to call it I Love Fuzz Fest / ILFest, too.

Thoughts, comments, ideas? Now's the time!

Jimi didn't realise the horrible tone suck we had to listen to every time he used that wah.
