I only had a few minutes with it tonight, but I'm super excited to try it out at band practice tomorrow.
Will report results after rocking out.

Jero wrote:...When you consider it, with the amount of time to ship through everyone, and time spent with everyone...this could very well span a couple months. That being said, each person is to have the Frazz for NO MORE THAN 3 days. If you don't need it that long, by all means, keep it moving. Even a day helps.
Let's try and use the same box, wrapping, etc, each time it is sent. This will save money, and time.
Please use USPS &/or Canadian Post, and get Delivery Confirmation. It's cheap and if not anything else, offers some reassurance.
After I have each persons info (pm's are fine), I will send out your "Mailing To:" This is simply the information for whom you will be mailing the Frazz to. When you have shipped it out, you will contact your person letting them know, as well as giving the DC#.

Before everyone else got to practice I plugged the Frazz in just to get a feel for it. I started with the low gain side, gain almost at minimum to begin with, sizzle at 2 o clock, mix maxed. The low gain sound was absolutely awesome and stacked extremely well with both overdrive and other fuzz. I stacked it with an AC Booster both before and after, both of which sounded great, and a TAFM which was THE BALLZ. The upper part of the gain range for the low gain side produced more of a fuzzy distortion (or distortiony fuzz if you like) that also sounded great stacked with overdrive and other fuzz. The thing that struck me was how articulate and responsive the Frazz was at lower gain settings with open chords and intricate fingerings. Though the low gain sounds were awesome, the high gain side was muh favorite.Gain maxed, mix maxed, sizzle maxed produced some HEAVY HEAVY tones with a definite hint of lower octave synthiness, as Vid also described. The gate kicked in fairly quickly with the gain on the lower side, so I mostly stuck with the gain cranked. As far as in a band setting, it definitely cut through the mix on both low and high gain settings and maintained it's beefiness really well. I've had a lot of problems with fuzz sounding awesome before practice when I'm warming up and then super thin and wimpy in the mix, but not the Frazz
.
I've still got a day left with it, so I'll try and record some non-shitty audio clips if I can, and then send it on to Mr. HClapp.
Sorry for the super long post, I'm just excited to share my experience with the awesomeness that is the Frazz Dazzler.
That would've been awesome!Ryan wrote:I just wish I would have sent out a white background Frazz so everybody could sign it and graffiti it like a year book or something fun like that.
