I spent a lot of hard times with my drummer as a two man act. In some ways it was great, no worries about notes, only rhythm. In some ways it sucked, because we both had much bigger ideas.

Here's how I feel about duos- record like you're a full band. Serve the song first. Then when you play live, boil a song to it's essence, and OWN the duo sound. Utilize sparse arangement, and PREY ON THE FEAR!

OH! Free album of Ronald Raygun as 2 man band?
http://www.dwarfcraft.com/Media/Two.zip

Mostly live, Howler has an overdubbed section, and A Sea of Fists has overdubbed vocals and synth.

Finally took a cue from some peoples' advice on here and hooked me guitar up to two amps at once, my Fender hot rod deluxe and my Lab Series l5. I've been using stereo effects like the SSM/H and Pulsar to split the effects into one amp each... sounds pretty cool! Thanks guys.

this is cool

That guitar is fukken sweet.

I recently saw BRB&BMH live and they were amazing. The guitar called a Lowebow. Here's a video explaining it:

More good use of a Lowebow (although doesn't match to the two-person band topic):

lol. They're like one of three metal bands I have on my iTunes(along with Arch Enemy and Iron Maiden).

Air is a two man band, but I'm pretty sure they play with a full band. Did anybody mention Chromeo?

Also, Daft fucking Punk!
