On a budget! my friend gave me a $20 something dollar Behrringer Pitch shifter that really has been thru a ton o' abuse. TC elects pedaLS offer a ton o' options for the price too! Flashback delay, Hall o Fame etc. are great for the price

Oh man. That's the Robert Smith sound on that Siouxsie record, right?

It's pretty much the Robert Smith sound period. It's been in his chain since 1980.

+1 on the Cool Cat Trem; it was the first thing I thought of.
I also really like the Dano Fab Distortion, but I don't know if I can recommend it since mine only lasted a few months.
I'd also like to recommend the GarageTone Overdrive and Analog Delay (although the delay is over 50 a hair).
The Behringer Vintage Phaser is the only phaser I've ever been able to tolerate on my board, but I do run it through a loop blender. I've got PP's Ibanez Phaser coming though, so maybe that will change.
Lots of Digitech/DOD stuff, but I'm more thinking of things that are cheap new.

I can't believe I haven't posted already in this thread. Here's the cheapies that I rock with:
Boss LS-2 (great utility pedal)
DOD FX72 (maybe my favorite flanger ever)
Behringer BSY-600 (insanely underrated bass synth)
Behringer CC-300 (perfect copy of the Boss DC-2, and yes I've A/B'd them, and sold the Boss)
Dano French Toast (fOXX Tone Machine clone, I've moved onto another TM clone, but this one is still awesome)

Why would you look for another BM-1 when you can pick up the other versions for next to nothing? Just wondering.
They are actually very nice sounding pedals considering their price. Quite a good range of sounds from them!
The seller that I bought the pedal from neglected to tell me that he painted the pedal with red paint. I use the artec for my set-up, however, I like to have the bm-1 for my collection because I like the graphics on it.

It's too bad there aren't any cheap pedals that make weird/gnarled/fuct sounds. Thank goodness for the boteeks, I s'pose.

PS-3 from BigCheifBc and his ebay enforcing... Any cheap pitcher will do... Go for Behringer cause you could always throw it out the window if it don't suit yo needs...
