shredder guitars, gretsch guitars (i love them, but i always feel like an ass playing them because its like "oh, you have a gretsch but you don't play rockabilly?), anything with a bright sunburst, or a highly figured top with a transparent color finish, carvins, and boss and line 6 pedals.
aww, come on. ArK amps are gorgeous! they're like art modern! tiki sculptures. but amp form.
also any Warwick bass that isn't a thumb or a dolphin.

Correct. Used to have a bass that would either fit the extremely expensive case made for it, or a coffin case. I shilled out the extra $60 for the not lame case.

A shiny, new strat. All I ever see is old guys playing them; they're like a shiny new car, or a trophy wife. Tasteless.
A beat up, new strat. It's so obvious that you bought it like that, the wear doesn't look natural at all. It's like those jeans the guy from Nickleback is wearing in that earlier post: douche jeans.
I've got a floyd rose in my strat; I don't use the trem bar. I lock the nut and use the microtuners, very useful. Plus, it looks less like a strat, which is a good thing because they're so common it's getting to be painful to see or play them, however comfortable and great they are.

Ah, but you have to see that I sometimes play in/for a blues/american band with a dude that has done Jugband stuff for like fifty years and every now and then whips out the kazoo... I makes you feel like you are on the muppet show...

On a side-ish note I have found that the Blue Box killz for jug tunes as you can get this weird "jug-tub" type of sound with it
