The Gliss requires a Expression pedal and personally, I think that having the freeze standalone is good, just like you'd get a MIDI sustainer pedal and i'll certainly be getting one if the price is right.

For all you people that want a HOG2 I think it can be fairly guaranteed by the next NAMM show or one after they'll release one, EHX is on a role with trying to bring new things out all the time and also, removing the use of those old 'un-reliable' sheet metal chassis and moving on to standardised ones, it's just probably taken alot longer than the POG II because the Pog is a much simpler effect and adding new things to the HOG when it turns into the HOG 2 and shrinking it down is a large task and is also a more expensive unit that many people may not be able to afford so better to release the cheaper items such as Memory Toys etc. to get income coming in... Mike Matthews is listening and knows what people want to see (Hey Mike I want a nano pog & affordable Harmonizer pedal btw)

That second demo has convinced me that EHX is on a mission to destroy the sound of electric guitar and replace it with church/pipe organ tonez.

This is problem with EHX stuff. It's very pricey in the long run. For example I'd love a POG but to me it's an effect I'd rarely ever use. Even though EHX aren't boutique effects they still feel like effects for Rich kids since you need a lot of them to have real diversity in your sound.
