Dub, I'm so sorry. I know words on a computer screen can only do so much, but hang in there. You know there are plenty of people here for you.

I met my landlord today.
Apparently, she was repainting the house, as I was jamming with my drummer. She was pissed, and I stayed calm and talked to her politely while she made massive assumptions about my character, and continued to bitch at me.
Things ranging from claiming that I throw parties, to that I play with a band at three in the morning. All completely false and enough to piss me off to no end. I've been quietly raging over it all day since it happened.
She also seemed pissed that my roommate is barely home, and implied that it was because she couldn't stand me. What a bitch.

Let it go. Trust me. Not worth it. Play it out or practice or run or sth.
My mom's like that, and I have to live with them cuz I can't get a steady job yet, to afford living anywhere else.

Sorry, i do not want to insult you, but you don't understand. The hobby is just the indicator.
I have it right now the other way round: i do "babysitting" a whole year while my wife works (btw, i'm the first male who is doing this in my company (9000 people staff). It is strange to be a male in a female world. And everybody who says we are a modern world and the roles of the gender are changing is a liar. It is not like that. The humans are dependent on the typical/classical roles of the females/males.
female - child hooding
male - working for a living (of the whole family)
female - looking nice
male - sports/music/bikes/cars whatever
female - cleaning
male - repairing stuff at the house
yes, these roles are so stereotype - but people want it like that. It gives yourself security and you know what people are expecting of you.
To get a partner that fits to you and is open for a different view on the roles is like a jackpot. I do not know anybody in my surroundings who has it like that. And most of my (male) friends don't want it like that...

I'm just pissed that the woman who's trying to run a business proceeded to be, frankly a complete bitch about it. And I hate people who make character assumptions on no actual evidence. It seems shallow and stupid. Not to mention that her frustration was completely fucking disproportionate to the amount of noise I was making. I'm just glad she didn't do something stupid, like enter the house before I answered, which would have been a violation of Renter's Rights in New York.
