Yeah I just have some teachers that have kind of stagnated. The class work is mostly just studying and the lectures are boring. The subject content is good but the execution is very mundane

Skipping classes gives you a certain kind of freedom, too. I really enjoyed how NOBODY knew where I was while I was fucking around at a park, or the arcade or something.
It feels different from just leaving the house and doing whatever on your off day, it's the total freedom of going AWOL when you're expected to be somewhere.
That said, I wish I was in school right now

The problem is once you're not expected to be anywhere they you realize EVERYONE doesn't know where you are.

Secret Satan reminds me that I don't delve into all of your music often enough. (My stalkee does some awesome stuff.)

School sux. Unless it's about something you REALLY REALLY REALLY LOVE, then it's awesome.
Don't waste your time, srsly, it's not like you're gonna get a job anyway. You're better off studying what you want to, over the internet.
It's called hackschooling, it's a thing.
I quit collage after trying two.
Feels like schools brainwash you into anxiety or sth

I learned almost all of my applicable skills from working at the college and being in student groups. In college I got $35,000 to throw a concert and was in charge of a $500,000 budget. Now I'm just in charge of calling people and asking them to buy shit.

I've been calling into work a lot lately because I hate it so much.
Tonight it has taken all of my mental strength not to throw a computer monitor through a 9th story window.

I know that feel, man. I'm sitting at work as we speak and it is taking everything I have to remain in my seat and not destroy the sound system.
Also I got called in tonight, which in turn cancelled my band practice.

Agree.

Double agree. I got my latest gig (which, coincidentally, is in the field that I studied) through connections I made in college, after working gigs through connections that I made in college. You get out what you get into it, and while there's a lot to be said for being connected, rather than being certified/accredited, being in and around a place that levies those sort of qualifications is a great place to find likeminded individuals.

I am losing motivation to play music
I feel like I am not improving, it's been a year long plateau
I guess I just are to find new people to play with because if I keep just playing in the bedroom I don't think I'm gonna improve
I feel really shit at both guitar and bass and I agent been excited to play in a long time

I get like that sometimes to man. Sucks big time. Try listening to some way different music than you usually do with instruments besides guitar. My fave is my Charlie Parker box set. Then I try to play his sax solos on guitar. Or I just try work out the rhythm and comp along. It does help some.

Maybe you could try pushing yourself harder, or setting more goals. Find a song you don't think you can learn easily and learn that one. That's the best way to get better I think. You will also feel really amazing if you can surprise yourself. If you don't think you can do it you're just lying to yourself. You can probably play anything, just how fast depends on how well you practice

That happens to me every once in a while, but what usually happens is I get a cool new pedal or a cool idea and I'm back on track.
Just hang in there man, sometimes you have to force yourself to play and you might find yourself enjoying it.
