I might be going to pick up Kate in the next hour or so. If I do, she's staying the night, we're drinking wine, and watching hilariously bad movies all night. I'm really excited, and I really hope she's up for it (she was still recovering from new years this morning =-=).

phone interview for the job in California on Friday 
it's in Palo Alto, too, which is better than San Jose (where i thought the position was) because it's possible to get there from more parts of the Bay Area including SF and Berkeley as well as my old stomping grounds in Santa Cruz County.

I stopped riding early today (on account of teaching all day) and saw a pair of my lessons from this morning--people who had never ever strapped on boards before 9:00 AM--out riding late in the afternoon. SUPER RAD!
