HC-TT is heaps of fun... even more so when used with effects. I've been using it in combination with W/ to build broken beats and other sonic beds. I've only had about 10 minutes with it and the PT Delay, but I can already tell that I've made some Good Life Choices...

HC-TT II looks mad... I've had this one for a couple of years, though, and not sure I need any of the new features. We'll see, though... I could be... CONVINCED.

I do not get the whole retro-tape-culture thing (even though the HC-TT is a product of that) but that's beside the point... when I can get a box of tapes from Goodwill for $1, I've got HEAPS of content to mangle.

Not to mention recording droning chords to a cassette and then being able to play them back with MAXIMUM WARBLE. Also, beats (see above).

This is what ultimately led me to the Monome Grid/White Whale (now Ansible) combo... a very playable sequencer that I can have fun with and not have to fight to make work. No knobs though...

speaking of playability, the Penrose being so awesome and fun has me missing the Harmonaig. kinda want to grab one again, but don't really have room for one.

I’m considering throwing down on a SSP also, the usb host and MPE support have me intrigued.

lol. annnnnnd DONE. i brought a little kitchen timer to make sure i didna go hellza quick, i know how it works but fucking FUMBLED getting it going before i started. so. ended up doing about 8 or 10 minutes again.

meh. i've been so busy this week that's all i really had that was good.

Actually quite content on sound sources right now, I think one Mangrove will do it for me lol.

Oh Yeah! Monome is my favorite sequencing/control ever! I am having a custom panel made in orde to use my Monome stuff with my Buchla. I will post a pic of the design we landed on.

i use the headphone outs in to a Tascam DR-05 to tap a recording from the mixer i take, have to go do some blood tests (routine shizz) and breakfast with the grrL, then checking to see if the audio is decent and Soundclouding. did a vidja too, but i want to get a copy of the house video to cut back and forth from.

theu have two people running big visual projections and it is BALLER.

Designed for using with 2 Monome modules (i have 2 Ansibles, WhiteWhale and Earthsea) although it will work with other Euro Sequencers. the audio send/return was a space filler because the ground was ugly if jammed in elsewhere, I can use the send/return to run to a pedal or send to a Sewastopol and process with Euro modules.

The Protocol Droid is a Euro module, 30 hp wide. Will have as small a case as possible but will start out with 104hp and have things like logic, VCAs, CV processors (because I also have a Format Jumbler so I can take Bi-polar signals and make them Uni-polar so they work with the Buchla). Ultimately, I want this to be a streamlined as possible for adding Euro sequencing to the Buchla - not an easy task...
