I'm not even sure if I already posted something in this thread ages ago...But here it is anyway:
It's my jagumaster, a jaguar with a 25.5 scale I build. Seymour Duncan pickups and a mustang bridge, everything else except for the body and neck are from a mij jaguar. Need to check the electronics, I fucked up the grounding somewhere.
Older Squier Strat Body Warmoth matte black Pickguard with single p90 route. Ancient DiMarzio P90 with the cover off Full size Alpha 500k Pot Switchcraft jack G&L neck Grover tuners Brass nut Squier P Bass strap buttons Hardtail Gotoh 12 string bridge converted to 6 string bridge Ernie Ball Power Slinky strings Vintage witchhat knob
Thanks buddy. Played it out today, not used to not using EGC pickups with any of my amps, I gotta put a boost at the beginning of my chain because of it hahah I love this G&L neck though. Routed the body to accept the extra fret. This was one of those $45 specials they were having. It feels great without me having touched it at all in terms of fretwork
That guitar is like a friend's older brother who always seemed so cool, except it's for real - up close the mystique doesn't wear off and it really is as badass as it seems.
Haha thanks dudes. I think this is how it'll stay. I had put a Nelson pickup in it, but the mounting situation was weird so I swapped it for this P90. It feels and plays like a glove though
Probably have some better pics somewhere but this is all I can find right now. It is a one off tele I had built. I am a LP convert so it has lots of LP-ish qualities. Body and neck are both mahogany and the neck has a fat 50's LP profile and a 12" radius. Ebony board. Neck and Body both have a nitro dog hair finish. Body has a huge 1/2" roundover. Bridge is actually a fixed bridge (saddles don't move), so it feels more like a bigsby than a fulcrum. Pickgaurd and other metal is actually sandblasted aircraft aluminum (builder has aviation background). Wide range pickup crammed into a silverfoil neck pickup enclosure and a overwound tele bridge pickup.
