Absolutely perfect winter morning. Crawled out of bed with a faint chill to the air, crawled into flannel PJs and my terrycloth robe. A foot of snow fell last night, and I don't have to drive anywhere for the next 2-3 days. Made myself a huge cup of coffee and spiked it with 2 shots of Jameson. I fucking love winter.

It was a re-run... You have to sign up for tickets months in advance and I don't do ANYTHING months in advance...

my coworkers got in to see Bon Iver by just showing up & getting tix. I was back at the conference hotel being sick

It's ok, Bon Iver's music makes me sick too.

And while it was a nice time, I'm happy that extended family is now all gone away to Omaha/Illinois and I can finally take a proper nap before I go to work in two hours.

We talked about everything, because it's tough being in a committed relationship for as long as we have been, as young as we are. But we both really care about each other, and understand the issues that can come from that. I'm just glad that we work as well as we do when issues like this come up (which was more or less just that she was afraid that we were losing common ground/growing apart, but after a talk, it looks like that might have just been fear of the unknown of growing up on both our parts).
