Been spending most of this day going back and forth over whether I should buy one. Seems so perfect.

Dude get it, I have the MF ring too and this is significantly better. (I'm actually using both at once with the lfo out from the big one running the carrier on the small one, while the RTG generates a carrier for the big one)

That sounds... sexy. I've got a Noise Swash incoming, so I could probably hook them up in some way and create etheral, synced noise.

That's actually a really nice little setup. Less knob fiddlin' more quick switch sounds. Awesome. Love ring mod.

Do it, Eivind. If nothing else, it gets you a lot of less traveled sounds.

Has anyone used one of those Moog MuRFs before? I never see any for sale, but the animation pattern and stuff looks super super cool.

Tristan talked about them once and wasn't really impressed compared to the MF Drive. It was in a thread about filter sweeps where somebody was asking about band pass filters: viewtopic.php?f=149&t=45703&hilit=bandp ... for+guitar I think it is on page 1.

Might be better to get a cv sequencer with random and an MF Drive or MF101 even though I know it isn't the same? LPF might be better for bass though

You do make a good case. I'll see what my paycheck says.

I'm not even sure if I'll get one, it was sort of just looking at videos and I was woo-ed by it. I like funny noises.

I might pick up a Nord Drum Machine near me for $275. It looks a little out of my league though as far as what I'm needing from a drum machine. I really only need ride, crash, and other sounds. And from what I'm seeing from Nord Drum youtube videos, it seems to be a lot more suited for house and shit, which isn't my bag at all.

Run it through an RM-1N? :animal:

Try it out then flip it? Is it the 2 or the 1? That might be high on the 1. The two, it is a good deal and you could probably get and extra 100 on ebay. Try it with pedals first though...could be a neat find. Distortion and bit crushing on it could make some good stuff. If it is the 1, try to get it down around 165.

Yea, RM-1n it. Like ^ said.

I can't decide if I want 2 reverbs, one pre dirt and one post dirt, or if I want more dirt and one reverb, and stick the reverb in the middle of my dirt.

I also really want the Gomorrah in the classifieds but nobody wants my Ghost Echo. I'm tempted to put my DBA verb up to fund the Gomorrah, but I like the DBA verb more than the Ghost Echo.

UGGGHHHHH

It's $275 for a 1 "BNIB". Not 100% sure on that because it's on CL, might see if I can game on the price.

RM-1N does make everything better, not a bad idea. I sort of wonder would it would sound like if I ran it through the feedback loop in my Echo Degrader.

That's too high. They are going on eBay, pretty mint ones too, for right around 200. Subtract fees and stuff and 165-175 is pretty fair in cash. The 2's go for 430ish. Nord makes good stuff though, but I haven't used the drum.

Put em both up and see what happens? Put the ghost echo up on reverb for a good price...it would go quick I think. Trade for something that someone else wants then get the cash from that for the gomorrah? Something like Trumbo to Arizona, White Sox get Eaton, and the Angels get Skaggs and Santiago. Be a pedal GM.

Perfect Circuit does have demo units from time to time that go for a good price (and the do have frequent sales). Patience, haha. Buy from Hirofumi direct when you can (he actually sells for good prices because of the exchange and stuff...really good guy to order from too)?

Definitely, it gives me a ton of versatility for some really weird and fucked up sounds. Ring mod used to be something I had no clue how to use and now it might actually be my favorite effect
