Dargie's Delight Bongos give me raging boners. If I could get one, with humbucker in neck and single coil in bridge...MMMMM.

I think he finally caved. It's been playfully misspelled, but it was always Behndy. Goofy misters.

Let’s call it a… tail! Yeah! Tail! And hey, what’s this roaring sound, whooshing past what I’m suddenly gonna call my head? Wind! Is that a good name? It’ll do. Yeah, this is really exciting! I’m dizzy with anticipation! Or is it the wind? There’s an awful lot of that now, isn’t it? And what’s this thing coming toward me very fast? WTF is wrong with me? Instead of bass GAS I am have been dreaming of this Les Paul 2001 Studio that is for sale at Old Town music. I just don't know shit about guitars but man did that thing sound so fucking good. I don't want to re nuke the pedal board again, I have a lot on their that I really enjoy playing with and I don't feel like going through BST town yet again. I might have to save for it..........I am thinking about going back again just to play it one more time

Being around ILF has made me want to play guitar more and more.

I feel like being in a band that is taking writing and arranging more and more seriously,...being able to come up with guitar parts is just another tool in the bag. Yes I am a bassist mainly,...but I do enjoy playing the guitfiddle.

I'm also going to be joining a metal band playing guitar; I'm approaching it from a bassist's mentality of supporting the band rhythmically as well as harmonically. The type of stuff where one guitar player plays a portion of the chord tones and I play the remaining portion,...any solo sections that I might take will be more of ambient/noise parts as opposed to your shredtastic solos. I'm excited about it.

oh hoho ooHHHH :joy:

This is exactly where I came from - all of my guitar wankery is rythym, and goddamn........is it FUN.

I sorta cringe everytime I start to go higher on the neck, so I found my sweet spot lies in the lower and mid portion doing chords and ambient/squeeelies/noise.

You gonna get a full geet rig?

I play a bit of guitar as well. I can kind of shred a bit, play metal riffs and do pinch harmonics, enough to be a bedroom god of rock. I write on guitar sometimes. It is funny, I was talking to the guitar players in my band about once a week attempting to work on group music theory, How to make really big chords between the three of us. Also working minor 4th harmonies, other harmonies, etc.

I am finding myself more and more into keyboard lately. After messing around and coming up with something, I play it on keyboard. I used to have a hard time connecting what I did on strings with playing on keyboard but it is making more sense these days.

I have never had any real desire to learn guitar...I took lessons when I was a kid, but partially due to my mom wanting me to. I started playing bass when I was in high school after realizing that EVERYONE ELSE wanted to be a (lead) guitarist. If the school had offered music courses that included the double bass, I'd have taken those, but the school I went to had no orchestral music offerings, only marching band (all of maybe 20 people or so...I went to a small high school where the JV football team outnumbered the band usually).

I have recently toyed with the idea of getting a decent inexpensive keyboard to mess with...I can just about play keys, as long as no ones expects too much intricacy out of it.

I didn't want to play guitar at first either but where I lived in my teens I couldn't find anyone that could/would play what I wanted to hear for stuff I was writing.. so I kind learned.. I haz solid punk rock skillz! Of late I have been messing with keys for writing now and am finally getting a "real" keyboard... [arturia minibrute] instead of using those cheap korg and akai toy thingys... Also I am at the point where I am getting tired of trying to make my bass sound like a synth.. not saying I will stop doing it but I have hit the wall without going midi...

I kinda want to get a baritone to play around with myself.

Oh, and there have been to many goddamn pages without titties. There is something very wrong with that!
