I've got a serious fetish for japanese stuff. Like, today I've been looking at different fuzzes, and I always end up back at the japanese ones (LAL, Shin-Ei, Masf etc.) I could probably get equally great tones with fuzzes from other countries, I might even be missing out on sounds that would really fit my playing. But maaan, those sweet ass japanese fuzzes...
I do have non-japanese gear that I love. But I might have loved it even more if it was japanese. Smarrusoundu/bigusounderu, Fazzuhaggah, Dwerfucratteru etc.
EDIT: Oh yeah, drugs are cool too.
I heard somewhere that most of the stuff that's sold as LSD these days is actually 2cb or something else. I mostly stuck with shrooms though.

Me, the misses and some friend are talking about doing some shrooms soon. I've only tripped on truffles (sclerotia atlantis), but now we're talking the traditional liberty cap (psilocybe semilanceata). Even though I'd like to go for a spin, I don't know it's the best idea just before school starts back up. It usually takes me some time getting accustomed to reality again after any sort of psychedelic trip.
Confession: I've got more unread books than ones I've read. The curse of being a student of literature. It's probably a bigger hoarding problem than pedals.

I think I smoke so much weed that I can be pretty functional on drugs. I had to work for two hours after I dropped acid at my school's Welcome Desk, I held it together.
