I'm not positive about this, but I think I remember reading somewhere recently that guitar cabs in general aren't a good mix w/bass cabs. I'm trying to find that article...

If I didn't have one, I'd take it off your hands..... what happened on TB?
It's not TB's fault actually but the whole event made me extremely unhappy and fucked me over financially. I sold the head on TB, shipped UPS. First mistake right there. Head does not track and says it's never been scanned. 3 days later, the buyer freaks and demands his money back. Understandable but shitty. I bitch UPS out for 10 days. They have 8 business days to find my head and find it (of course) on the very last day. I pick it up and it looks fine but I opened the box just to double check. The UPS store person informs me that I didn't pack it correctly and that they wouldn't have covered it even if it was damaged in transit. I tell her to go fuck her self, make a little scene in UPS and leave fuming.
Needless to say I will NEVER, EVER ship UPS again. Not EVER. I ship a LOT of shit too, so those motherfuckers can kiss my ass!
I just sold my Bongo 5 too heh. Bought a Stingray Classic 5 instead. God I've been fucking Gasin for one of these for 2 years! I played one in GC a few years ago and have had a boner for it ever since. Here's some pics of it. Fuck all the haters. I love my Musicman.

PUUuurrddyyyy.
The classic is sooo much better than a bongo
yeah......fuck em all, had shitty experiences with every single carrier. UPS has been much better than fedex, but all of them fuck shit up (in always the worst possible way)

That would be my only dilemma...one pup or two. I think I'd got for one.

See I've owned an a Stingray HH, 25th HSS reflex, Bongo HH, but never a H. I always turned the top to pickups off on my HSS though. SO, naturally I'm delighted by the Classic H. It's good as can get IMO. I love Stingrays. Soooooooooooooooo good.

The Beatles have a handful of songs that I think are some of the best songs ever written. But they did churn out a lot of crap, too. The best example I can come up with is the fuckin Sgt Pepper album. I just don't get why it's so revered, 90% of that album is unlistenable crap. But then it ends with probably one of the 5 best songs EVER FUCKING WRITTEN. And I just don't get how they could turn the awesome on and off like that.
Little late on this, but Sgt Pepper was basically a milestone in modern recording, something that was basically considered impossible to do at the time. It basically blew everybody's mine as a technical and musical achievement. While all of it may not hold up perfectly today (I still think its fantastic), you have to put yourself back in that time and imagine how out of nowhere it was.
If you ever get the chance, there are a couple of fantastic books about recording the Beatles that go into this stuff at length.
I actually have George Martin's book, so I know all about how much of a bitch it was to record. But it's not the recording techniques I'm talking about. I just think most of the music sucks. Except for A Day in the Life. Which is so fucking incredible, it almost makes me pass out. But out of the rest of that album, I just don't find much in any of those songs that I enjoy. Compare that with Abbey Road, which is 90% really good music.

I can definitely say that I'd pass on a Bongo...just don't like that shape.

HH's are great, sadly I had to sell mine 2 years ago.
If you decide on a single PU, go for a Pre-Ernie Ball. My 1979 ray is so badass.......

I thought the same thing but I have owned two and they are absolute tone monsters man. If I could own both, I'd definitely keep the Bongo. I actually dream about owning all of Musicman's different basses. Love them all!

I've got the HH, but find myself mostly using the bridge pickup anyways. So I wouldn't pass up a single H if it came to me.

I use a bunch of pickup combos on the HSS. The front S sounds real dubby. The middle S kind of P like. The back H is MM all the way. Front S and the H sound great together. I just love that 25th Jwarious!

Did your name change? Are you fake Behndy? What the fuck is happening? Are you some sort of bizarro Behndy that eats meat, screws of age white women, and listens to Nickelback? Did I eat shrooms? I'm going to jump out of this window. Ahhh! Whoa! What’s happening? Who am I? Why am I here? What’s my purpose in life? What do I mean by ‘who am I’? Okay, okay, calm down, calm down, get a grip now. Ooh, this is an interesting sensation. What is it? It’s a sort of a tingling in my… well, I suppose I better start finding names for things. Let’s call it a… tail! Yeah! Tail! And hey, what’s this roaring sound, whooshing past what I’m suddenly gonna call my head? Wind! Is that a good name? It’ll do. Yeah, this is really exciting! I’m dizzy with anticipation! Or is it the wind? There’s an awful lot of that now, isn’t it? And what’s this thing coming toward me very fast? So big and flat and round, it needs a big wide sounding name like ‘Ow’, ‘Ownge’, ‘Round’, ‘Ground’! That’s it! Ground! Ha! I wonder if it’ll be friends with me? Hello Ground!
Or was your name always Bhendy?
