It plays so nicely! I'm contemplating putting a toggle switch with a resistor to drop down to 250k if I want to. But I'm not sure, I kind of like the simplicity!
This is something I haven't really understood - say you have a pot on full volume, there shouldn't be any difference between pot values should there? If I wire a pickup straight to the input jack (which I'm considering doing because volume knobs are the enemy) am I going to cause my ears to bleed? And you know, not in the good way?
Volume pots at full volume are a resistor to ground. The signal can either go through the resistor to ground or on to the output jack. The larger the value less signal goes to ground through the pot, and its usually treble being lost, so no volume pot will just mean slightly more treble.

Klein Broadcaster in the Bridge.
Echo Park Gold Coil in the Neck.
white Guard .. Tusq Nut.
the middle position has a bit of volume drop - playing clean.
But .... i Love this odd ball pickup combo! the middle position has a really nice snap to it
the gold foil/coil is so fucking Rad! i've never played one before. it has just the right amount of Bass. really dynamic. jazzy ..
and micro-phonic
i got the Angry Sparrow Fuzz in the mail today.. and i'm enjoying it - with this new Guitar combo SO. MUCH.
more than i expected to.
i know it's Honeymoon time. But. i'm Happy.

Is this a Mastery bridge for Télé? Easy to install and to intonate?

hey Syl!
it IS a Mastery. i thought it would be very simple to install. i was wrong.
i got the bridge on fine. but the height was really thrown off. i adjusted the neck. i couldn't get the proper action.
the strings were too low on the fretboard.
i had a local tech set it up.
now that it's on .. and setup. it's really great.
action becomes much faster. it has a kind of magnetic/electric glide too it? ha.
the guitar resonates more even while unplugged.
clear and bell tones are more present.
it's a big change. and. i'm sure not - for everyone.
it has a certain feel to it.
fresh strings can buzz for a bit.
it doesn't hurt to adjust/tighten the saddle springs to keep things buzz free.
I'm so. so happy with the way this Guitar turned out.
it took me a while to decide/receive on pickups.
but ...

I've actually been thinking about buying a guitar lately guys. Sigh. I've been down this road before (I've owned like 10 guitars LOL), but my hands are stupid. My fingers are kind of fat I guess??? Not me though because I work out and stuff. haha
I want a geeetar with good low end and has decent string spacing, not super tight. I'm open to more than 6 strings as well. I would prefer a passive as well. Is that even an issues with guitars? I honestly don't remember.
OH! And I'd like to keep it under 800 new. Cause...you know...I suck. lol
Any suggestions????
