I've been sleeping most of the day, and I suddenly feel sick, or hungover or something.

I hope it goes away by tomorrow :\

I wish there were a polite and gentle way to tell someone, "I love you, but you really need to grow the fuck up." Especially when hearing this will only exacerbate the problem.

Ugh, I got 3 hours of sleep and in the middle of the night I realized that I had forgotten to do something at work. It's not super crucial and can't be done another day, but my boss is certain to give me a stern talking to. Fortunately, one of the other cooks, REALLY fucked up yesterday so she'll forget all about it when she hears about that.

And I still feel sickish making it three weeks by the end of today.

I woke up in the middle of the night disoriented, and dizzy. Over the course of about 5 minutes, my entire body started seizing, and my muscles in my arms contracted to the point of making me scream in pain. I could barely make my phone dial to call my parents, and when they finally picked up (around 4am), I could barely talk, because the muscles in my mouth were seizing, and I was in too much pain to say anything but "HELP" and yell.

Eventually I made it to my shower, and turned the water on, and sat in the tub with the shower hitting me, hoping the water would help. The warm water started to help relax my muscles, and eventually my parents made it over. After that, I just felt sick like I did last night. My parents took care of me for a good two hours, though.

And I had my first day at the better paying job. I really don't think I'm going to stay, if the other job calls. The hours would be nice if I was single, but alternating weekends and 12 hour shifts don't work for me. Should be a good week or two's paycheck, until the other place calls.

Sigh. Just shy of my breaking point. Been putting in 40-60hr weeks for work, while being a full time student, for the past...month now? I know how my boss works, and he won't keep me here for much longer, I just have to push through these couple projects, but people have actually told me they can even hear how tired I am just by a phone call. And the wife is all worried now too, apparently I'm so tired you can see it on my face as well. And since my wife's car is in the shop ($530 to change a timing belt. I hate her car), I get to take her to work tomorrow before I go to class, so I have to be up about 4am tomorrow.

I just worked out for the first time in a LONG time. I ate apple pie 1/2 an hour before working out...what is wrong with me. I think I am going to puke.

This. Been bumming me out too. Especially when I go to local shows and the band I used to be in play at all of them.

Also, my high school orchestra is going to Scotland tomorrow, but I didn't have the money, so I'm not going.

Heard my vocals for the first time recorded in years. I fear they sound shitty. Others are telling me it 'fits' the music.

Am I worrying too much? Am I being overly self conscious? Anyone else do this?

i always shit bricks over my singing. if you have a voice that isn't a normal "good voice" you're always going to pick on yourself. if other people are OK with it, let it go. or go ahead and do twenty takes, and then use the first one like i do LOL. that's what Adele wound up doing on much of the last record. once i get self conscious it fucks me up. if you're really unhappy with it, just put a bunch of reverb on and bury it in the mix.

you could also try multi-tracking the vocal. if you do three tracks of a lead vocal, it smooths out the difference between doubled vocals and makes it sound unified, and if you feel self-conscious because you feel like your voice is weak this can bulk it up.

Some of the coolest teachers at my school are being "let go," so after this year, which has 9 weeks left, their done. My High school acts like it doesn't have money, but it has millions in surplus, the new superintendent is fucking shit up all over the place.
