Welcome, and nice collection! What version Big Muff is that, and what's the guitar next to the JM? With the slanted neck PU. :hello:

The muff on the left is an English muff'n, the other one is a standard pi.

The guitar is an early MIJ Mosrite The Ventures.

It might of been in tribute to The Ventures but I bet it also nails the Ramones tones. Welcome to the dark side dude. :thumb:

Dude! What's with the English Muff'n? I'm not used to seeing muffs with all of those controls + whatever that black bar thing is. Gonna have to look those up.

Also, with the whole Jaguar/Jazzmaster - vibrato thing, I got my blacktop because it was cheapest option at the time, and I love the body shape. I'd get another hardtail offset in a heartbeat because 1- I've never gotten along with their vibrato units and 2) the shape is cool as hell, and they balance really well. I used to think that I just didn't like vibratos because strat bridges are a bit too dramatic/lacking in control imo (I could never get subtle bends out of them), and regular Jaguar vibratos, or anything where the strings are mounted in a similar fashion, end up eating thru strings when I use them (regardless of whether I filed down the holes to make sure there were no burrs or whether I was gentle or not with them), so I totally get the appeal of not using the vibrato on them.

Edit: Never mind my question about the Muff'n. I was expecting it to be a fuzz, but apparently it's a tube amp in a pedal. o__O

The black bar is a cover for some tubes.

Yeah, I saw that when I ended up looking. I just wasn't expecting something like that because I thought "It has 'muff' in the name, so it's a fuzz" and didn't know what it was, but it makes sense now. Seems interesting tho. Might have to look into one/something similar and see what it does for me.

I thought it was a vintage pi, so I was wondering what version. :)*

For future reference, the LED (just below the space between the Volume and Tone pots) is vittually a dead giveaway that you're looking at a newer Muff... hashtag trainspottingtips
