Happy new guitar day to me! (well actually I got it like a week ago)

It's a Parker Fly! It's fucking awesome! It's made of the future! Look at it flying through the air like a god damn space ship!

I'm probably now the least talented player to ever own a parker, upper fret access is amazing but what do you do up there? Open D one finger chords all day for me!!!!

sick guitar. a lot of people don't like Parkers but I think most of them are cool. I've played a fly and it was really comfortable and sounded great. I think the Fly in particular looks really fly

so friggen cool
it's got the acoustic pickup too right????
Back in what I like to call 2001 I played one in a shop for an hour
and then the guy took it from me and wiped it down with a rag before he put it back
I felt dirty
but I friggen love those guitars

Yep it has the piezo pickup which does a pretty realistic acoustic sound and sounds disgusting through fuzz (in a good way). It's easily the lightest guitar I've ever played yet the neck feels just as rock solid as my aluminum Kramer did, the trem works great and stays in tune perfectly, just a super well designed guitar all around. Got it for $850 locally which is actually the most I've ever spent on a guitar but seems to be a solid deal for a fly. Super happy with it so far!

That's such bad form to treat a potential customer that way. I once had a couple of grand burning a hole in my pocket. Was planning on buying an amp and some other gear. I'm not the classiest of dressers, most likely I will have dirty jeans and a holey t shirt on. This arsehole wouldn't even let me plug a cheap guitar into this amp I was looking at. Just told me I couldn't afford the amp. I then produced $2800 in 50 dollar bills, told him to stick his amp up his arse and that I will be happy to spend more for the same amp somewhere else. Will also never spend a cent at this store ever again. When the store manager came over I told him the same thing. I later heard this dick was fired that same day. You know I never did buy that amp in the end.

that is a damn good deal. I always wanted to try one after seeing Joni use one with a Roland controller to mimic different tunings without having to retune.

Finished this up tonight. Put it together for a little less than a Squire Jazzmaster.
Got the body and pickguard off of fever606. Pickups from AncientAstro.
Specs:
Not sure of the builder or wood for the body, but it's heavy as shit.
Spitfireish pickguard, no rhythm circuit or tone control, just a 3 way pickup selector switch and 500k volume pot.
CIJ pickups, AllParts pickup covers. Switchcraft jack and switch. MIM Fender Strat neck and neck plate. Fender neck and pickup screws.
Fender Blacktop trem assembly. No-name Mustang Bridge. Mastery thimbles. Fender strap buttons.
