So after playing some guitars at guitar center a few months ago, I ended up deciding that I need a bigsby in my life.



Shitty pic, but it's on my Blacktop Jaguar. You can see where some of the finish chipped off while removing the old tailpiece, and while you can't see in pic, you can see where I plugged TOM tailpiece holes too irl.

I'm contemplating putting a tele bridge pickup in since the Bigsby came with a tele bridge plate. <_<

Still waiting on the roller bridge to arrive tho (should be here by the middle of next week). It's one of the Wilkinson style ones where everything can be locked down, so I'll have to shim the saddles so radius can match up.

Loving the bigsby tho. I sat around for like 40 minutes playing spaghetti western-y chord stuff after installing it.

fuck yeah man...Bigsby's just win...the best trems and look awesome too...

Hell yeah, they're great. It's funny, cus I spent most of my time playing guitar thinking that I either hated vibrato, or that they hated me (no matter what I've done on anything where strings mount like they would on a jazzmaster, I couldn't even look at the bar without snapping a string...), so playing some Bigsby'd guitars ended up being a real surprise. "Oh, these look cool, feel good and there's basically nothing on the unit that could give me trouble?"

And yeah, seriously. The lust + other funny feelings that I have when I see someone's ECG (or aluminum guitar in general) is unbelievable.
