NOPE

Too bad.
Man, the worst thing ever is when you're trying to play with someone who dismisses noisy or weird ideas. It's instantly over.

I'm starting to realize how being on here has really raised my expectations of people being open to odd music. It kinda sucks facing reality

Yeah, I don't really know why he thought that was ok. I'm generally very non-confrontational, hence why I didn't yell at him or anything. Watching him try to stop it and fail was good enough for me. We ended things right after that happened, though.

Yes. I find that I get kind of sucked into my vortex of friends, and then when I meet someone who thinks boring mainstream stuff is alright, I have a reality check myself and think "holy crap, those people DO exist outside of the internet and the news!"

I also feel the same way whenever I'm around a tv that's on. I forget how awful television makes me feel....

Yeah, I want to know what they are using to calculate these.

i'm absolutely certain, given the amount of time i spent playing along with Allmans records in the key of A minor, that they use the second-string C at the 13th fret a WHOLE LOT.

I began by writing Ruby code to scrape the internet and download many tablature files. I then used R to produce a data set that would drive these visualizaions.

Tabs and spelling mistakes. I trust it.

Although the phrase has a long history of including a description portion (such as the old, mostly harmless insult "your mother wears combat boots"), the phrase "yo mama" by itself, without any qualifiers, has become commonly used as an all-purpose insult[1] or an expression of defiance. The insult may fall flat if it is true and should be used with caution.

As to slayer, I bet this is because of the thrash-y style of playing where you're constantly hitting the open low E while playing notes on other strings. It sure looks funny, though.
