PC gamers don't pay for games anymore

ram?
which graphics card exactly do you have?
how is your pc running the game? I know some games don't use all cores, example; shogun 2 uses 1-2 cores regardless of how many you have :/

Is it a dell? Certain dells are notorious for overheating.

Sure is, cheap computer with decent specs
Well it's on it's way to getting fixed, the hard drive crapped out
It usually works fine but in a few years I'll be buying a new laptop and can guarantee it won't be a dell

dell was good 12 years ago. they were the last one to give up on making high quality products for the american market. we have only those cheap ignorant laptop buyers to blame for deciding the fate of the industry. Michael Dell cannot be blamed. anyway your right, dont buy them. if your gaming you should have a desktop anyway. seriously. and buy a good power supply for your super on crack x7 video card. like a stock 500watt power supply is not what you want to run some badass video card. dont just think that if it works its good. hard drive failure is sometimes due to a crappy power supply. the damage they do is invisible. we often blame the failed part.

Hmm never thought of that
I can't say I'm hardcore gaming on it, just playing non-graphically demanding steam games like HL2, Killing Floor and TF2 among others.
Once I'm done living in dorms I want to put together a sweet recording/gaming rig though

so that means your building a PC for music. I have both and all I can say is that the mac owns all day. my mac book pro shits on windows 7 desktops bought at best buy. running protools on mac book pro vs NEW desktop PC with glyph hard drive firewire. the pc was not mine but his money spent on the machine and the upgrades he spent later to keep it from choking was rather sad considering it was an endless supply of digidesign, microsoft and gateway all sucking major dick. he bought a $400 external hard drive and it was still choking on a motherboard with a shitty FSB.
his total $2500
mine $1500
his shit dont work very good at all.
mine does.
if your building a PC and you have a nice motherboard then I guess you would be alright. I put a solid state in my brothers gaming pc and it was totally worth it. he still has a 500gb 7200rpm also.

$2500? Does it go to work and do his job for him?
That is an insane amount of money for a pc. You can build a fantastic pc for half that - maybe less, that will destroy most systems.

including the digidesign interface and the $400 glyph hard drive that is made for demanding video/music applications. I got my software for free when I was a digidesign dealer. I got my audio interface for free. it was his leftovers from when he bought the digi 003 rack.

I played the first one. it was pretty cool. this new one looks like more of a hell theme where the old one was a demented wonderland.

Is anyone else bothered just a little when it says "Pegi 18" in those videos?
