Haha, yup. I know some bad ass tradesmen that innovate everyday.
I know it was just for the purple haha. Which makes it totally bad ass.
My reaction to creative class crap has to do with some interactions down here haha (shit is scene-y)

Well, then there's actually the question of "what is art?".

A work using artistic/expressive techniques with (some level of) didactic value beyond strict communication of information and/or function (like advertising...can still be artistic, but isn't art).

Yeah, but you'll find people'll interpret that differently.
(Thanks, D.

Haha, yup, that's the grey area....
And what people like Warhol were challenging (which the critical process in that interaction kind of become the value of art).
A work itself can not exist in a vacuum, it requires interaction.
In the context of universe, author, viewer, world (work based), a Cosby sweater glued to a TV can be art.
That's how stuff like fashion get 'elevated'. Haha
So I guess it can functionality be one of those "only a poser can self-identity as a punk" deals. If no viewer successfully gains or understands a work in someway beyond face value (it's a boat), can the artist be an artist? Tommy Kinkade, better watch out.

Made out of Quaalude labels? Now that'd be some artistic statement.

Where did I hear that a Cosby sweater was puking rainbow colors all over yourself? Haha.
Do they even make ludes anymore? Or is all foreign or NOS?
Man, but that artwork can only exist in this universe where those events transpired and became associated (kind of...because a veiwer can always impose their own, personal experiences, which makes it less successful overall but still, in that interaction, successful).
Haha.

Yeah, exactly, art taken out of context is hardly art at all.

Theory: cold climates facilitate creativity more than tropics
This seems to parallel, eventually forming a union with my other theory of discomfort being a stimulant and comfort being a sedative

Because you don't need to create anything if you live in a tropical paradise, bro.
