Maybe the cup of coffee comes with a "free" Metal Zone? That'd be awesome. :ewok:

UGH Manny may have a point. Anytime I get expensive ramen...I feel like I'm one step closer to getting Hep C. $1.50 TOPS for Ramen. So gross. I brought this upon myself.

....coffee is good though

 What's expensive for ramen though? :snax:

I mean, a $10 bowl of ramen can be life altering. :trippy:

It's not the cost that's an issue...anecdotally...I have found anytime I pay more than a certain amount for ramen (usually in the $10/Bowl range)...IT STINKS!!! I just want tasty ramen

Next time I'm in Philly, I will happily treat you to Ramen...just guide me to the good ramen.

To be fair...I should have asked for it without seaweed (which I love seaweed...but I know seaweed can vary place to place).

To be clear...I am using the word 'expensive' in the comparative sense. So my usually home ramen is a whooping 75 cents...so a $10 bowl of ramen is substantially more than that.

You know, I haven't really had any good ramen since I moved to Philly. I've been pretty broke since I moved here. The problem for me is that really great vegetarian ramen is a little more difficult to find than the more traditional ramen. Although, since I've been here, a lot more veggie restaurants have opened up. (Just like the coffee scene.) So, I can only imagine there's some good ramen somewhere around here. :idk:

Yes.
ok. 1 pour-over. Done well.
Gently reheat it a bit.
Pour it over a new set of beans.

win?

I went Vegan for a couple months back in 2011 and thought Philly had a lot to offer even then. I can only imagine now what it has (since the area is developing so rapidly, the rent I used to pay in Fishtown has since quintupled, if not more).

To be fair, I'm not exactly sure what the guy did. Back then I was off on Mondays so I used to get 4 double espressos and listen to tech house all day and drink coffee. The guy picked up on my pattern and asked if I wanted some 'high octane stuff'. This was years ago and I truly wasn't paying attention so sorry I cannot provide more information.
