Holy shit Nick that's serious biz. Nice work!
I'm starting to hit the wall with StrongLifts. Failed to complete 5x5 squats for the first time last week at (235# 5,5,3,2). Tried 325# deadlifts yesterday and only got three reps.

Thanks. 225# didnt go so well
I bailed the clean 2 times, cleaned it on the 3rd time (but ugly at the bottom of the hole) and missed the jerk
That vid. Watch my back round at the bottom of the FS. Not enough breathe at the beginning of the lift and also not keeping my back tight all the way through.

I'm gonna be heading into the gym for a good grappling/bag session. Hit the weights and a run yesterday, hoping some of this muscle tightness nonsense dispels soon. I guess that what stretching is for, right?

Just did 3x5 power cleans with one plate for the first time yesterday. Damn it felt good.
Still stalling on bench, though; can't seem to rep 185 for the life of me.

Nick, you are looking more and more confident every day.
I've put on a pound since being ill and being invited to do a bunch of stuff all at the one time. I'm going to have to get back to boxing and watching what I eat. No more cheat days.

Thanks man! I am shooting to hit a few goals this year. 500 lb dead lift, 400 lb squat, and 300 lb clean. Just working my way up those ladders

500lbs, that's pretty intense. That's a long, long way off for me.
I was helping my friend pick up an old cooker the other day, a traditional range that can eat your home via a back boiler by keeping it lit all day. It was heavy as fuck. If I were deadlifting I reckon it would have been a lot more manageable. Practical strength, yo! Everything is sore.
Nick, how long has it been now for you since you started working out?

Well I started CrossFit on Aug 6th. I started olympic lifting around Oct 20th. I started doing more strength related stuff around mid December
