Yeah right? Real people cash means real people spending habits. No children, got a holiday holdoff on significant others.... STOMPY BOXES FOR DAYZ SON! DAYZ!
Fingers will be crossed.
Killer day at my "eternally a child" job, and I get to do it all again tomorrow.

I got an e-mail on Thursday from an employment agency which wants to submit me for a 3-month temp-to-perm position in San Jose. so if it works out i might be going BACK to the Bay Area. how weird is that?

If ou turn the depth all the way off, you can use the manual control to set the frequency of the phase/filter/thing, the feedback control acts like resonance. With positive & negative feedback and the 3 way switch for different stages of phasing, you can get lots of weird sound. This is probably the best cheap pedal ever. Square wave phasing, "ring mod" mode, static stuff. So good. It may not have the most lush or water sound but still capable of a lot.

Agreed, excellent purchase. I got mine for $10!
I dunno how to use it like a "real phaser" though...sounds cheesy to me. So I put it before fuzz to mess with the fragile upper harmonics, but for it to be heard I have to set it dangerously close to the stupid
whistling thing, and hearing that either makes me laugh or pisses me off. The manual sweep and ring mod tricks are THE SHIT though. Also, the squarewave mode sucks at everything besides fake arpeggiator sounds, where it excels.
It can also be set to do a little vibrato dip thing for TEH SHOEGEJZ TOANS.

My SVT-VR is now in the hands of a local cab builder. Monday he starts building a new shell for it.

copy and pasting this from the ILF fbook group cause I'm lazy.
Night Creeps just played their first show. Despite me messing up our two best songs and accidentally skipping a really cool noise part, it went really well. We got invited to play there again which is cool. We were supposed to get paid, but haven't yet because the owners ex wife decided to show up and steal pretty much all the money and trashed a bunch of stuff. Just glad we were all packed up and had our equipment in the car before it happened. Also, I've decided to name a song after the user fungalattack since we used his name from the band names thread :P
