neh. slide on THESE nuts.
or something.
i hate the idea of any spaces between modules, have never owned drilled butts, don't see the hate for White Castle Cases.
1u rows ARE appealing.

I just ordered a shortwave radio and want to meld it with my modest modular setup … I saw that someone already had this idea and did some cool stuff with it …

of course, you can use websdr.org but a real analog radio with knobs is more "real"

I used to have an Evaton RF Nomad. It was actually a lot of fun to have in my system. I need to start using the shortwave radio in the Field Kit more often

The problem with the module-based shortwave stuff is that you don't have a screen to show you what station you are listening to. You may have some favorites that you don't want to spend all day finding. But that nomad does have an antenna jack, which is pretty cool ...

I get that. An actual indication of what frequency you're on would be pretty nice. I really ended up using it as a noise source and found very few real stations. The Nomad also didn't have the full shortwave spectrum which was kind of an issue for me so I ended up selling it.

Anyone know anything about the stereo LPG’s from Strange Science Instruments? I’m looking for a LPG and most of my stuff is stereo. Never heard of the company before though. Behndy, what do you use your JF for mostly? I just got one to use with the Verbos harmonic oscillator

lol. it sounds sooooo damn good as an osc that i could only make myself put it in cycle mode once.
i have a second shipping when Ctrl Mod gets them in (they expect mid July YES PLEASE), so then will be able to explore the modulations aspect more?

I got it for modulation but have been listening to osc demos. whoa! so sick. Mine ships wednesday and I cant wait. Have any of you used Cold Mac? I had no interest in it for a long time but it's starting to appeal to me after the Moody rig rundown videos and other vids. I wish I had a shop closer to me

So according to the last update, the Quadrantid Swarms are supposed to start shipping any time now. I have little confidence considering the way they have been progressing with it, but I really just want to finally get my hand on it. Even though I am like 95% sure I'm just going to end up flipping it

I'm just hoping they ship sometime in July. I'm still kind of interested, but I'm really happy with my Mother 32. I think I may try to trade it for a DFAM. We will see though. The one thing that may win me over is the polyphonic abilities.
