So I jammed with a drummer & bassist for the first time ever, and they want me in their band New Wave / Post-Punk stuff. I'm excited.

Also, this session has totally shown me how much I miss playing bass. I need to get me one of those.

Turns out my buddy does not have potentially deadly fatty liver disease but instead has a bad case of acid reflux.

Haha. I've been sleeping with this girl for the past month.

We both independently decided two days ago that we weren't going to keep that up. I went over to her place to ask her out, and as soon as I get there - before I can say anything - she starts crying and saying that she can't do it anymore, we can't just be friends that sleep together anymore, and she knows I don't like her like she likes me, etc. I was just dumbfounded, and stopped her like what the hell are you doing? I came here to ask you out on a date, so like... stop it...

Classes are over the semester, only a couple finals left.

Also have this lady friend that has started texting/messaging me a lot since her breakup last week. Not sure what it is exactly, but it's a nice change.

finally starting to comedown. gonna take 1 more unisom and melatonin, have a cig then hopefully pass out. My sister is down visiting from Minnesota which is pretty great. band practice went really well. today was a good day. now I can finally sleep. 2 shows coming up next week that I actually get paid for.

Just jammed with a drummer. He's into stoner doom and noise shit and improving. A solid 3 hour long session of locking into together. Feeling good about getting some sort of project off the ground with him. He is going to play with a bassist sometime this week, so if that goes well we'll have a trio on our hands. If not I can switch to bass Good stuff.

& I'm spending tonight baking cookies with lady friend.
Double good stuff.

after only sleeping for 4 hours and spending the day at work, I finally get to sleep for a full 8 hours. Then I get to go to band practice

OMG Of Montreal was possibly even better than the first time. I think I had two heart attacks, cascading orgasms and swallowed a pound of feathers.
