While attempting to write lyrics just now, I had this thought:

I accidentally ranted about my marriage to a girl I work with tonight. I didn't bash my wife really, I just vented about some problems. Only later did I realize this girl is sort of in her "finding herself" early twenties phase and mentioned liking older guys and was basically saying she wanted a fuck buddy and invited me to go kayaking with her Sunday but I work a double thank god and now I feel super guilty for some reason. I also worry that this could get awkward at work. I hope not. She was asking about my marriage and I get so few opportunities to vent that I definitely said too much. Ugh. Its all stuff that I'm legitimately unhappy with, but this girl was the wrong person to talk to about it.

On the plus side, its nice to feel like someone wants the D. My wife is pretty indifferent towards the D at the moment.

I'll confess, when we were going through that phase a while back, I would've killed to have gotten that sort of attention from a girl in her early 20s.
I wouldn't have acted on it, I love my wife, regardless of how much she pisses me off. But just to know you still got it and, as you said, someone is interested, goes a long way in satiating your man ego when your life partner has gone off active duties in that department.
Don't stress about it. I'd say you spilled your guts to her due to a bio-sexual urge to procreate with as wide a genetic field as possible, now that you know you can do it successfully with good results. Its perfectly natural.

I think the fact that I felt guilty just for talking to her is going to keep me at a safe distance. Im going to be friendly still, because we work together, but I'm not going to get lured in haha. The attention was nice, but my ego has been successfully boosted. back to reality.

I feel like an old man saying this, but there have been a few girls come through my work place in their 20s that put out that vibe, and it kinda freaks me out. Shit seems crazy to me because I never got that shit from women when I was that age. Maybe it's because I'm "the older" guy now, maybe it's because I was drunk/stoned throughout my 20s.....it's still kinda strange to me.
But not entirely unwelcome. In tiny, harmless doses that don't tear my family apart.
