interesting so, in a way, a reverb companion to the Volante - it does seem to be built on a concept similar to the Ursa Major? (I mean, idk, I never geeked out on that thing, but from what little I've heard....) :snax: :idk:

also, just saw this

But it can also be a straight up pitch effect after the fact. Which is cooler. I don't like ascending shimmer, hurts my ears, s'not healthy! But an octave up reverb/delay on a low signal like a bass/baritone is super cool.

I don't want to want this, luckily I already have the Polymoon, which is more or less all I need.

Or is Julianna already old news?
The Julianna was cool until I read the price. Yikes.

But for someone that loves the JC tones it's in my radar, just have to get my ampless setup stereo, which has been a small odyssey on its own.

haha - yeah. I just assume price comes with the territory for WA (still don't own one myself, but if I ever catch a chorus bug, this seems like a smart choice for functionality). At least WA stuffs don't seem to command the ludicrous price gouge on the flip that some of these bootweek brands do. :grumpy: do they? :idk:

I especially like that it has a delay time knob, which greatly expands the functionality of any chorus (or flanger) but is pretty pretty rare on a chorus, of late (there are some 8Ts chorii that sport such).

I'ma head over to their page to chack whether they make a similarly smart flanger. :snax:

re: the Stryme , I'm no strympologist, but is a sequenceable series of pitch intervals really synonymous with "shimmer"? :idk: I hate shimmer too, but I think I'll wait for a few demos before filing this where I file most Strymes....

Before Jesus shimmer, shimmer was a tremolo/resonator patch on the Lexicon Vortex.
But years before that, it was a pitch/delay preset on the Eventide H3000.

As someone who is a big fan of the Volante, I dig that this is in the same size enclosure. I can only hope that it is as cool as the Volante but IDK. I guess we'll see once they put out some demos.
