I've been waiting for this game for over a year. I hope it's as good as I hyped up to be in my head. If the game is amazing I don't expect to see you back on hear until the weekend..... at the earliest.

Ok, so Brink has some amazing things and some things that are kinda weird and come off as frustrating and unsatisfying.

For one thing you die very easily. Too easily.

Also in the singleplayer campaign enemies respawn at their base or are revived and continue fighting - kind of like how multiplayer would be in most games.

Brink is all about the objectives, unlike most games where its more about killing enemies and then maybe there are a few objectives you take care of after.

Most of the objectives result in the levels being like king of the hill or capture the flag games, as opposed to normal A to B levels. There is a lot of back and forth, and combined with how easily you die it can become frustrating.

The actual mechanics and gameplay systems are very good. Everything is gorgeous. Really good graphics, settings, art style, etc.

I think if they make a few changes with some patching it can be great. It gets a 7-8 out of 10 from me.

Semi-related...it fucking burns me up when shitty console-to-PC ports run horribly on my PC which otherwise runs most games great at high settings. Or when they have terrible controls and you can't even remap them.

Make it for PC first, then optimize it for consoles if you're going multi-platform. Suck it, consoles.

I hate it when somehow my PC overheats playing Killing Floor, it's certainly not a demanding game at all, I mean I have a core i7 quad core and a solid radeon graphics card (still could be better)
