So I kind of hate Trump now...It's weird. I liked him because he was funny and arrogant and I actually thought maybe he could change some shit because of that. Well the arrogant part I mean. But I keep seeing the same thing. There's no new substance and he's driving home some points too much. I get it. You want a wall around the US border. Are you going to hire Mexican's to build it to save labor fees? Kind of defeats the whole purpose...

I don't like any of them though. Bernie is the only one that has any brains, but I really fear having him as a President. He's too soft spoken and Hil Dog is a vicious B.

Sigh. Just anyone but Hilary please. I'll vote against her no matter what. I don't want that fucked up psycho in the White House.

I don't think Trump ever really had a platform in the first place. :idk:

"Make America Great Again" is just about the vaguest thing you can say.

Well no… because to make 'merkia great again means undoing all the corporate greed that has poisoned our whole country, you want a strong well payed work force you can't be always grabbing at the quick buck...

I think he actually means South America.

He's gonna try to reestablish the Inca Empire.

I find it fascinating that people think Trump really has any plans or makes actual arguments. He just talks about. I do appreciate his honesty though and I think people really respond to that. He doesn't have to play the game other politicians do.

In terms of Republican candidates (I'm not a Republican), John Kasich has some good stuff to say. As does Carson, though Carson also has some dumb shit to say as well.

Bernie talks a good talk and makes good points but Hilary does have experience. People say she is "Hawkish," but I think people on the Left are so tired of war, they react to any possible use of force, or need of the use of force, with negating it without thinking whether it might be necessary.

Iraq was a total mistake but Obama's idea of leaving was a bad idea. There is a good Sam Harris Podcast with a former Navy Seal that makes some good points about Iraq.

That was a total rant, sorry.

I think Bernie's continous advocation for a Muslim/Arab country alliance to deal with ISIS and extremism is a good point.

With Hillary what you get is more of the status quo, she is not going to do anything remarkably different from the Obama>Bush>Bill>Bush>Reagan path. At best we will get to keep some civil rights stuff around at worst she will be our very own Margret Thatcher. I think the idea that we are having to take the supreme court into account for how we vote very sad, I really think those people need term limits, they are starting to get to much of a we are royalty attitude [well some of them are]. Also you have to remember.. this election is NOT just for the presidency, the house has 435 seats and 34 Senate seats coming up, if we wanted to a lot could change… or not..

Also, it would've been much better if Andrew Giuliani had been mayor:

I really like Bernie. He reminds me of some of our old, more ideological ministers of state, which I kinda miss in Swedish politics. I don't think he is too soft spoken at all actually, he appears to be really pissed of at things, and I don't think he'd bow down to people. I think he'll attract a lot of moderate republican votes from people who are sick of establishment politics. The US is super unified in what they want economically actually, the divide is centred around things like war, minority rights, gun control etc. What people tend to forget that in the end, a lot of people will abandon these kinds of beliefs for a better economic standard, and if Bernie gets the democrat nominee and gets to debate Cruz/Trump/Rubio, I think he would utterly destroy them on that field. The fact that he doesn't attack any group of people in society (well, except rich people) is a thing that I think will win over some moderate republicans. Just my 2 swedish crowns.

If I lived in the US, Bernie would be the only presidental candidate I'd even consider voting for. Left-wing/socialist/liberal American politics is so funny to listen to when you're living in an old socialist country. If Bernie was running in Norway, he'd be on the right side of the political spectrum. He's not extreme AT ALL. And people are losing their shit in the US, so scared of socialism. You'd be FINE. He's not Stalin, but Trump might be Hitler. Just my 2 Norwegian crowns.

Unfortunately "socialist/socialism" is the ultimate republican trigger word. I still haven't found one that actually knows what socialism is about though.
