Got mine, finally! And thank you, Scott, it's great. I have a feature request, for far off down the road revisions maybe. As a bass player I would love a high pass filter feeding the effect. Shit gets crazy, which is fine, a variable high pass filter would let me get in the comfort zone of crazy without muddy.

I like this idea. Still haven't gotten to play one but I know exactly what you mean. No mudrunnun

I've been think of running the ct5 on a loop because of that, also so I can route it in stereo. :snax:

Having spent a some solid hours using the count to five, I have a few observations to share.

#1- It's as good as everybody says it is, and better than you think it is.

#2- It's many things, including things you probably don't think it is.
- I've heard slapback, ring mod, reverse delay, and tape echo sounds out of the pedal, not to mention where the CT5's real power lies which is:

#3- Of all of the things it can do, what it does best is unlike anything else available now or ever.
- I have found that it's wheelhouse is as a very smart phrase sampler, which comes as no surprise. The juicy bit is in the "very smart".
It's almost as if the CT5 knows your intentions and helps you to discover the sound that you've been trying to find, but then it adds it's own special flavor to it and
helps you find other things you didn't know you wanted.

#4- It plays really nice with other pedals and delays.
Run it into a tape echo. I dare you.

Thanks for making an awesome pedal. I hope many, many people get to experience how amazing it is.

You don't know real pain until you have to give your preorder to a friend because you can't spare the money to finish paying it off.

He's in the middle of a studio move and hasn't even shipped all of the last batch yet. If you are on the mailing list, you will be one of the first to know about the next batch. Patience.

I keep finding myself wishing Mode 1 and Mode 2 were combined. I want the automatic sampling of mode 1 with the random playback of mode 2. I'll rhythmically tap the momentary switch while in mode 2 but that doesn't seem like a good long-term plan.

Frankly, I'm more excited to see what's next for Scott and Montreal Assembly now that he is working on a new pedal with someone else!

Also, my new Ct5 is on the way, Thanks Scott!! :!!!:

Ya that's a good idea too, iirc that's a bit more inline with one of the MASF pedals?. In mode 1 the tap switch is free on rev j atm, so maybe we I will make use of that soon (hopefully you have a rev j ?) . There are still some other small things to fix in the firmware but i have not had much time to program since moving. The new place will make things much much better though, so excuse the temporary delays, in the end it should benefit everyone.

Ya it will be released under mtl.asm but as you said the coding was done by someone else who woks with me now. We have a more or less final prototype ready, so are just waiting to get fab set back up here then there will be more news on that.

Also there are a handful of people who still did not get the ct5 from last run, so thank you for your patience if you are one of them. We will be shipping a few more tomorrow. And feel free to contact me directly if that is the case, I will get back to you asap.
