I think what is happening, I'm sitting behind my iPad on the floor and every time I reach over it to make an adjustment to the pedals is cause the phasing you are hearing as my arm gets between the mic and amp. That's something I've noticed in the past too. Look and see if it coincides with me making adjustments. I'm about as lo-fi as one can get with making these demos. I don't have any way to interface my actual recording gear wih my computer.

Hey' here is another look at the Garnet Herzog with single lines. Plus I hope I've solved the phasing issue.

UG, do you think Lastgasp pedals share a specific "sound?"

I am proposing that they do.

Consider that the guy who makes the pedals is a noise musician who uses like military-grade acoustic weapons and gas-fired utensils and magnets instead of an actual guitar
Definitely not like any other builder out there.

Sweet demos, UG. Major GAS for the gomorrah and octavella. Have you tried stacking the two? I can't even imagine how ridiculous that would sound.

Indeed. Not a "sound" in a bad way, but a sort of harmonic consistency.

I think so too, all of their pedals I own have a house sound. Something about the dimensionality and grainyness, and the spatiality is consistent if that makes sense. Even the white noise generator shares these similarities. I'm a fan for sure.

Thanks  yes, I posted some sounds and textures below of the octavella stacked ino the Gomorrah. It's exactly what I imagined and wanted.
