I just got this guitar. I've barely even played it, and what's more is that this is my first guitar -- I only have basses. And I'm already spending my money on fucking with it just for the sake of fucking with it.

This is ridiculous. I feel like I do this fairly often and then never even use whatever I "modded" to its full potential. I gotta cut down on it.

Today I sliced up my first bass and gave it a bridge P pickup. The pickup used is low-output compared to the one already in there, so the sound isn't quite all that like I had first thought. The strap keeps falling off, too. I feel like I have tainted my bass and now it is shunning me
Well..........I can always remove the pickup and cover the cavity with an ILF sticker.

That is how I feel about, about stomp boxes sometimes. I am only home x amount of hours and only about an hour of play time in a day. Half of it spent not using all of my effects ( not that I am going to stop collecting but I have cut my spending WAYYYY back for the first time ever in 3 years)

Its been one pedal a month and some times I want to buy 3 or 4, and I am constantly scheming and thinking about selling my whole board sometimes just for the sake of trying out new things.

but the more I wait and the more I am able to try things out, I feel like I am making better buys and I get more inspiration to play more which in the end makes me very complete and happy.
