Some times less really is more. I know that's not a popular view here, but playing clean is a good way to work on your technique. It also gives you the chance to really decide what effects you need, as opposed to just settling disputes between your pedals.
I think if I had an amp head that would get grindy enough on its own, I could get by with like 2 Fuzzes and maybe an octaver.
But I'm also addicted to the thrill of the hunt. Tough choice.

Man the demo ShaolinLambKiller put up of that SS Peavey bass head was pretty god damn grindy. Did you see it?
Edit: hmph, it's a guitar head. I wonder if the bass version is as chunky...

I find the older I get the less anything makes sense, not new things, but the things I did not understand because I "wasn't old enough to". I was told this wouldn't happen, I was told I would understand when I was older, everyone lied.

I am drinking shitty beer mixed with chocolate milk, feeling melancholic and listening to American Football.
p sure this is the best way to spend a Sunday night.

Wut?
I'm drinking a Schlitz tallboy.
Its a good way to end a Sunday of being hungover.
I need to get up tomorrow for band practice/trying out a drummer at 11AM. Sooooo early.

(I work at 5PM normally so yeah)

I only drink Steel Reserve, so I mix it with other stuff to defeat its taste.
Last time I drank it with apple-flavored Gatorade

Good luck tomorrow, broham.

Ok, I'm glad that "shitty beer" meant Steel Reserve. I was afraid it would be like PBR or something else that I drink regularly.
But I'll drink Steel Reserve plain. I won't buy it, but if someone offers it, I wont say no.
