Shit, really? I guess I'm more of an exhibitionist than yous gaiz. In summer, I just shed clothes. During the winter, it's hard for me to get comfortable, which has less to do with the cold and more to do with people's heaters going full blast. Plus, the whole getting dark early thing makes me all morbid. Eh, takes all kinds to make a world, I s'pose. Glad everyone's happy

+1 - I'd much rather be cold than hot.
+3 The cold makes me feel alive, even when it' uncomfortable.
I got really, really happy seeing it snow today.
Related to the cold and happiness, I hung out with a woman twice this week and all we did was walk around outside and talk for about 4 hours each time. Exploring the city / cemetery / beach / parks, conversing and enjoying each-others company. Good times.

Dunno...I don't like sweating as soon as I step outside but freezing my nuts off sucks too. Earth should only have one season and it should be a constant 65-degree autumn. Uh, sometimes snow too. And warm rain. But still 65 at all times.
Can't sleep at all if I'm warmer than 70. And those people who leave their car heater on all the time...fuck you.
"Oh but Achtane I live in...fuckin...Minnesota"
LIKE I GIVE A SHIT. THAT'S NO EXCUSE.
....anyway.

Who the hell lives in Minnesota
outside the years of 2007 through 2010???
Tonight, I'm actually enjoying my lowish alcohol tolerance. I'm feel giggly on roughly four beers.
Seriously, the whole realizing I only needed a B- average this semester rather than getting at least a B- in every class is pretty awesome.

I would not want to miss any of them really. Right now I am really enjoying the clear brightness of some winter days. Reminds me of the edgy, bright Postpunk or Mathrock sounds. It seems like this is a perfect weather for analytic thinking. But there are days that are just awesome in any season. The earthy, powerful Drone of Spring, the jolly, poetic Fuzzrock of Summer and the thoughtful and quiet Singer-Songwriter of Fall. I love em all.
The actual reason for me to come here is the accelleration of my heartbeat when I get a text from this girl. And the date we have tomorrow.

Relating to the first part of this post more than you know. Seasons and their shifting have inspired me to devote an entire album's worth of songs to them.
As for the second part, congrats and have fun!

I've been writing lyrics more recently than I have been in recent months. It's fun writing stuff in a hiphop format, because it can be goofy and not be seen as stupid (at least to me personally).
And I've been busy recently. It's nice, even if it's not with Kate. I've been getting mad hours at work, and when I'm not working I usually have school stuff to work on.

Winter=Agalloch
Winter sun=post rock
Spring rain=Explosions in the Sky
Spring sun=Arcade fire
Summer rain=POST METAL DESTRUCTION/CREATION CYCLES
Summer sun=angry/happy/crazy alt rock punk sth + whatever comes to mind
Autumn rain=POST METAL DESTRUCTION/CREATION CYCLES
Autumn sun=industrial, electronic, experimental
And the concerts this year really pwned all of it. It's been a wonderful year ^^

bear in mind, I'm a loon- Since we begin each year in the winter, I'll start there.
Winter:
Black Metal and Renaissance choral music-Dichotomehz!

But I also like Stereolab during winter months.
Spring:
psych, prog, Sabbath, Coltrane, and anything transcendental and ethnic. Also, the Gaze really grabs me in the spring
Summer:
Fun stuff like The Strokes and Iron Maiden, Blues, Bluegrass, Dinosaur Jr.
Fall:
This is where we're quite similar, as I like Nick Drake, Neil Young, Buffalo Springfield, Fairport Convention, ish like that. Additionally, I like to play King Diamond, and spookier schtuff. Kaki King is another Autumnal fave. And Dead Meadow. Definitely.
Sonic Youth is sort of year-round thing, depending on the album. Goo is definitely a Fall album for me, while I like Daydream Nation in the Winter. Washing Machine is one I prefer to hear in the spring. Experimental, Jet and No Star is my summer jawn.
