Anyone have any ideas as to what this can may be? The closest to a name I could get out of the pic is "Magmavox"
That looks like it may be a joystick interface at the bottom and the large orange module has a joystick out. The rest of what I can read is just common terms, LFO shape, ETC.

Dude doesn't know what he has and has it for sale for $1,200

all the drums are BIA or Manis through Sisters, melodies are Just Friends then Rings through a few things, then Mangrove FM'ing the Sisters later -

Can we get a higher-res photo?

Edit: Asked around and it looks like the bottom rows are PAiA modules, which were sold as kits, so likely was a DIY job. Top bit might be something custom as well? Not sure they're super valuable though.

I've been thinking lately about how to go about re-creating the arp/voice switching that's in a Korg Monopoly.

This is of course to prevent myself from buying a vintage Monopoly.

Here's the ad, it's all i've got. I assumed a series of kit builds.

I was on a short but nice holidays trip in Hokkaido (private onsen, fuck yeah) so I haven't had much time to spend with the Teletype yet but damn, that module makes so many other things obsolete for me. The fluidity of the process of just typing a few simple commands and getting a ton of different possible results is wonderful for me. And I haven't even plugged the expanders yet.

The fact that all the code for a scene can be written on one (paper) page is also awesome. I'm reading all the doc and writing scenes on paper that I can test at home later...

If I don't fuck things up my first "proper" scene should be a multiple CV generator that I intend to use with my BIA first but would work with anything else and that should allow me to generate parameters sets (i.e. 4 sets of values for 4 parameters), apply variations to each set and send the desired voltages when desired. For the BIA that would mean have 4 CV outs plugged in the BIA's CV ins, 4 trigger ins that would each choose the relevant parameters set and send these CVs and 4 other trigger inputs use to randomize the relevant parameters set, with the randomization amount controlled by the knob (i.e. no change at 0, full random at 1).

So basically I could generate/refine 4 different sounds from the BIA and then trigger them when I want either internally or through the trigger inputs.
Should be fun and a good way to familiarize myself with the syntax/features set.
