i just had a fucking great band practice, even though it was like 35 degrees (celcius) with 5 dudes in a tin shed with no fan
worked out my fuck can make my bass sound like a really dirty synth because the active pickups completely overload it on with the threshold set high and realised both my flanger and phaser are really useful in this band

It took me a second to understand this but then I realized it's summer where you live. Damn. I wish it were summer.

i would gladly trade, excessive sweating and sunburn is not my fave way to spend time, i am a winter man at heart
parts of summer are good though! like the beach and long days, this is the positivity thread after all! :)

im a space cadet right now
but its almost over
i just worked 20.5 hrs straight

True. You don't have the "consistently over 100 degrees F with 90% humidity" summers we have, and then "Maybe it's cold, maybe it's 60 degrees and sunny" winters we have.

Finally sold off my Magic Cards so I can buy Almonds' Arc Flash Oscillator tomorrow and still feel responsible. I don't like spending money on myself this close to Christmas. It makes me feel like a selfish prick. This way, it's more like a trade. Albeit in a roundabout way. Yay for dat
