my great grandma died today. she was like, 102, so it wasn't surprising to anyone but it's really hard on my grandma. especially with the dementia and everything. everything sucks lately, i'm trying to just let it wash over me.

Got home really late from work. And instead of going to bed, I get to stay up and wait for my clothes to wash and dry, because my step moms mom is staying in my room where all of my clothes are and shes asleep so I have to rewash my clothes from today. I also get to sleep on the piece of shit fold out coach. And I also get to work late tomorrow because I had to take someones hours because she didn't feel like working. I just want to smoke a bowl and go to bed. But I'm all out of weed. And cigarettes. I'll stop bitching now.

This week my friend died, I've alienated everyone else in my life, sold all of my gear and we lost the house anyway. In my dreams.
THIS WEEK ALL OF MY DREAMS HAVE CONSISTED THUS FAR OF THE WORST POSSIBLE SCENARIOS.

I'm playing for my friend's wedding today, and I was looking forward to it a lot until last night when we setting up. I'll just give you the highlights. His father-in-law yelled at us for being too loud while we were still setting up (before we'd even started sound checks). When asked what we were playing we responded "some Elvis, Beatles, buddy holly" to which they responded "are you playing any love songs?"

When we started sound checks we were asking them to tell us how loud the guitar and lead vocals should be so we could balance everything else around that and they had us turn down to the point where the p.a. is doing nothing and the acoustic-electric is simply just acoustic.

If they start giving us more shit today we're just going to play mastodon and Bauhaus covers, I know our friend will have fun if we play those but we will sure piss off his in-laws. Oh, and they're not paying us for this. We figured it would be fun, and a nice gift to our friend, to play for the wedding even though w're playing crappy wedding songs.
