I'd LOVE to get an old Trace Elliot V4 to pair with my Trace GP7 ss head...best of both worlds there. Assuming that you like Trace tone, that is. And I do.

This amp purchase is pretty much my last gasp before fatherhood. I mean, I'll wheel and deal for some pedals. But my board space will be filled and I'm not buying a bigger one. So my rig will be complete. My bass is unupgradable, IMO. And the only way I could add to my board is if I also subtract.

That....and I'm ready to scale down from a preamp/power amp to just a regular amp. And I won't be sad to not have to replace sixteen motherfucking tubes.

i'm all torn now. i just got out of practice.... i was CRAZY loud and super happy with every toanz i did. i dunno.... i still kinda want to have a toob head to run with for awhile to see what all the fuss is about.... but i might wait. i'm just really happy right now.
