Btw,...I've been spending a bit of time in TBOT. There are some retards in there for sure,...but I enjoy the gentle trolling I can get away with,...It was fun when telling a particular Venture Brother's Loving Pittsburgh Penquins fan to eat shit. Once the Flyers are out of the Playoffs though (seriously don't think they'll get past the Devils),....I'll probably turn my attention away from TB.

it's not HORRIBLE, it just kinda blends in with movies of that type. and Ducuvony (sp? can't be arsed to look it up) is kinda annoying in everything.

oof. a movie i remembered being good but couldn't watch more than 20 minutes of? The Limey. BLEGG. Terence Stamp is always good, Fonda was a'ight, but every non name actor was GARBAGE. like, film school movie where all of your friends are the actors bad.

The Limey is blatantly a Terrence Stamp vehicle. If you just take it at that, it's pretty enjoyable. IIRC, Luis Guzmán's in that and he's almost always entertaining. Yeah, otherwise it's just fluffy tough guy stuff.

Smoking Aces is HELLA good. great lines, just a good action movie with a bit of depth. the sequel? fucking AWFUL. even Vinnie Jones can't save that shit pile.

one of my favorite under-rated actors is Ben Foster. he was Angel in that shitty X-Men 3 movie, the older neo nazi brother of the kid that got kidnapped in Alph Dog, main dood in Pandorum, friend of Marky Mark in Cobtraband, wounded hit man guy in The Mechanic.... everything he's in, he's kinda the most interesting person on screen.

I'll be honest, I couldn't even finish Smokin' Aces 2. Turned it off 45 min in. So terrible.

it's ALMOST worth watching all the way through Aces 2 for the ending. they try to do a big reveal that ties it in as a prequel to 1, then do a reveal that all the violence was orchestrated to bring down the American rogue black ops guy that orchestrated 911 And put terrorists in power in certain countries, then double or triple reveal that that mystery black ops dood was a hero that did... gawd i don't remember. but it was kinda fun to watch somebody with no talent attempt the Sneaky Everything Is DEEP reveal setup and payoff that CAN be good.... but they bungled and ass fucked it so hard it became this truly glorious mess.

like, if you're going to watch failure, watch EPIC failure.

the truly neat thing is i saw the first post where somebody put that on a "Cute Kids Dressing For Halloween" site, without thr caption. somebody... thought that was a good idea. dressing their kid as Hitler. my lil brother made the argument that, "well, you ARE s'posed to dress as something evil and scary..... right?". but somebody took that creepy, i dunno if you havin' chil'rens is such a good idea pic and made it BEAUTIFUL with the captioning.
