I got an email from my mom, starts with "I was listening to Opening Credits by Opeth & couldn't help but think of you. What a great song. I don't know if they have a new album out but I heard a song of theirs on the radio the other day."
My mom digs Opeth so much lol. She wants to see them in concert.

even smaller gigs i still get nervous before stuff jumps off. but a few notes in everything calms down.
i don't think i ever want to be completely mellow about gigging. seems like if you don't get any happy time shiver thrill out of it..... what's the point?

And I got some snacks and a T-shirt, and some stickers. The nurses could have been a little nicer considering I'm giving away blood for free and stuff, come one.
atleast you gave blood
i tried and the drain was way too slow i think i only gave like a spoonful that shit wasnt going anywhere....

Nice, I was there for an hour and a half, I missed study hall and English, oh no!
But I did an "R2" donation, so i gave three times, after each one they put "fluids" back into me.
I'm going to go do the same after lunch today. The Carter Blood Vampires call me on the day that I'm eligible again, they really like my blood type.

i used to really like the walking-on-a-tightrope aspect of performance, especially when i played solo. i used to go to open mics and whip out songs i'd never played before, or songs i hadn't played in years, just to make it more interesting. i once blew away a room by singing "Where Will I Be" by David Crosby a capella...i used to be a good singer.

There's a communications conference in Orlando and pretty much all of my instructors are going. That means I only have one class left this week!

Filling out graduate school applications... and it sucks. It's incredibly time consuming and incredibly expensive; in total roughly $2000
But when I get accepted somewhere with funding it'll all be worth it because I'll be on my way towards a solid career doing something I love and OUT OF UTAH!
