i absolutely despise the entire "post punk revival" genre. can't fucking stand everything about it.

fuck all genres with the word "revival" in them. if it had to be revived, it should have been buried at sea with military honors befitting its long and distinguished service instead. and i'll note that at 55 years old i've seen everything revived now from Dixieland to grunge, and am quaking in my boots at the prospect of the post-rock revival. which arguably arrived a year or 2 ago with the gybe! reunion tour LOL. "neo-" at least implies you've added something..."revival" is just copying. fuck that.

they're not post-punk anything, they're faux New Wave. i don't necessarily mean that negatively, but taxonomically...those bands have too much rock and roll in them to be post-punk, you know? they're more like early Elvis Costello than they are like Joy Division or the Cure.

When the fuck were 15 year olds allowed to fight fire? And just how the fuck did he manage to get around child labor laws? Also didnt he say he was fucking moved out and going to college????AT 15????? So this white trash motherfucker claims he paid his own rent ant utilities, held down two jobs which i assume added up to at least 40 hrs a week, while simultaneously going to highschool AND college AND FIGHTING FUCKING FIRE?????? I havent even gotten into the logistics of him having a car.
