Y'all know about Wire Instruments? He put together a take on a Percolator called the 665 Drive. I ordered one.

Good crap do I hate the proximity of the knobs to the switch on that thing. I'd be stepping all over knobs every time.

That Vaderin perc sounds real good. They've got a demo that is kind of interactive - you can flip switches, change the gain. Super cool.

I got the Electrofoods Pigpile and I think it comes closest to the recorded Albini sound of any perc I've spent time with. The bright preamp setting is what does it.

Liking the Vaderin - don't really bother with the alternate clipping diodes, sounds great with the normal setup.
